CONFIDENT & STYLISH - There once was a time when 'Suited and Booted' business attire in an office environment was the only acceptable dress code. How times have changed! But Come on people, who amongst us does not salivate over the sight of a Beckham styled suave and sophisticated gent? Don't despair, we CAN have it all! There is no excuse men, a relaxed work place does not equal a 'sloppier' you! More and more work places were headed towards the smart casual work wear style before the pandemic struck. There is even more reason to present a better smarter version of you while working from home. It creates a proper mental state of mind and consequently work ethic. Read on for a 'How To' achieve these looks and have the women and men swooning.
The Corporate male is appealing in a smart, stylish and well cut suit. The trick is in the fit! A flattering, well cut fitted jacket is not only pleasing to the eye it promotes the male physique giving the illusion of a broad shouldered, tapered silhouette. The trousers should be a slim fit but not too tight especially around the waist and crotch regions. The popular corporate colours of today include navy and lighter blues, beige/browns and lighter greys. Crisp white or coloured shirts with smaller stripes or checks are universally accepted and whether you opt for a more casual corporate look and dispense with the tie or go for a colour contrasting but palette pleasing shirt/tie combination is entirely up to you. A wrist watch suggests attention to detail and that you are both timely and therefore reliable! A final thought when pulling an outfit together should be that the shoes should always match the colour of the belt. Smart choice!
SMART BUT CASUAL – DRESS FOR SUCCESS

SMART CASUAL (OFFICE or WFH) WEAR - Begin with a laid back base of either a plain coloured fitted t-shirt or shirt (not too fitted!), add a slim fit pair of dark coloured denim jeans or chinos and throw over a light weight casual blazer or sports coat (it is supposed to be Summer after all). A classic yet simple versatile style of jacket can transition from an office setting into an evening social setting. Complete the look with a pair of smart yet casual looking shoes preferably in a blue or tan or brown colour and you are good to go. Well, nearly! The look is office casual but it would be too easy to take this to an all new sloppier level! Perhaps this is not the sort of image you wish to portray in a work environment even if it IS supposed to be a more casual atmosphere. My final thought to achieving a smart casual look is all about the Manscaping. Yes you heard me correctly 'Manscaping'!

Habits Of A Well-Groomed Man

Cleansing and moisturising twice a day (that does not mean twice a year!)
Establishing a routine and regular relationship with your Barber
Seeking out a signature scent (but please don’t overdo it)
Managing your facial hair
Taming your feet (and cleaning your nails!)
Manscaping (you know where!)
